What Should I Bring to My Skills Evaluation?

You typically only need confirmation of your completed online course and any required information provided during registration. Your training center will provide the equipment needed for the skills demonstration.

Yes. American Heart Association certifications are nationally recognized and accepted by employers, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and professional agencies throughout the United States.

For AHA blended learning courses, online coursework must be combined with an in-person skills evaluation. Completing only the online portion does not complete the full certification requirement.

Many of our California training centers offer flexible appointment times, including evenings and weekends, making it easier to fit certification into your schedule.
